11th Jan 2012: SocialSafe v5.1 released.
This version is full of great improvements. Journal View now includes Pages & associated data. Viadeo Forums are now part of Viadeo backup, search & export for SocialSafe Enterprise. We've implemented an unlimited G+ access token to relieve users of the repetitive login and we made a whole bunch of small Bug & UI improvements including memory performance improvements, a new 'What's New' screen and tour page.
1st Dec 2011: SocialSafe v5.0 released.
Pro & Enterprise users can now backup Google+ and Viadeo! To embrace these new networks we've enhanced the Journal View & File View user interface for all users. We've also implemented 12 month subscription-based licences for new Standard & Pro users (existing Standard & Pro users have perpetual licences). Minor bug fixes & UI improvements have also been made.
16th Nov 2011: SocialSafe v4.3 released.
This version includes the anticipated Scheduled Backup. Users can now set automated syncs at a click of a button. We've also extended Enterprise to support 10 social network accounts, improved memory & CPU usage, made minor bug fixes and made some UI improvements.
19th Oct 2011: SocialSafe v4.2 released.
In this release we've improved Free user registration, added functionality to support up to 4 Facebook/Twitter feeds in both the Pro & Enterprise versions as well as made some significant bug fixes & improved the UI where possible.
3rd Oct 2011: SocialSafe v4.1 released.
Enterprise users now have the option to sync up to 10 Facebook Pages. We've also improved Page functionality by adding Notes, Events & Check-ins to the large list of sync options. Bug Fixes & UI improvements have been made where possible :).
1st Sept 2011: SocialSafe v4.0 released.
v4.0 is the launch of subscription based Enterprise version, enabling the downloading, viewing, searching and export of a Facebook Fan Page, in addition to the existing Pro version features. Initially, Enterprise will handle Page Profile, Status Updates, Wall Posts, Links, Active Fans, New Fans, Lost Fans, Comments and Comment Likes, Album Photos and Tagged Photos (all for a single page). Inclusion of Events, Notes, Check-ins and multiple Facebook Pages will follow shortly. The File View User Interface has been updated to accommodate the changes required for the Enterprise version and Diary View has been renamed “Journal View”. We have also done Minor Bug fixes and UI changes.
21st July 2011: SocialSafe v3.1 released.
This release contains a new Search UI, enhanced Search parameters, Backup logging, providing summary information on each Backup, and a Backup View that enable users to see details of new items between Backups, Bug Fixes for intermittent stalling of Photo, Tagged Photo, Status Update, tweet and Following downloads and Minor UI enhancements and bug fixes.
5th July 2011: SocialSafe v3 released.
This release contains many updates including the launch of SocialSafe Standard [allowing backup and view of a single - Facebook or Twitter feed]. v3 also includes an Edit Licence opportunity, New Search box with added filters for Standard & Pro users plus theme dependent highlighting of returned results, SS users prior to the v2.1 release are now able to backup Photo Comments, Likes & Tags, Updated Tweet/Share text & Minor UI enhancements and bug fixes.
6th June 2011: SocialSafe v2.3.1 released.
This release prepares the SocialSafe application for the changes to the OAuth authentication process being implemented by Twitter on 30th June 2011. SocialSafe is being updated ahead of the deadline to mitigate the risk of authentication failure for new and existing users.
26th May 2011: SocialSafe v2.3.0 released.
This version includes an updated Settings UI. The addition of Schedule and Privacy tabs to Profile & Themes are to enable the implementation of scheduled back-up and password protection later in 2011. The release also contains a new Search Box UI, ready for the enhanced search functionality being made available in version 2.4, improvements to the Free version Photo UI and some minor bug fixes relating to intermittent stalling during Twitter download.
14th Apr 2011: SocialSafe v2.2.0 released.
Improved FileView data loading speed, application is now more responsive for users with large Facebook/Twitter accounts, DiaryView arrows skip between data as apposed to Next Day/Previous Day, App can distinguish re-connected Facebook Friends, In depth filters added for Twitter>Fileview and we've made various UI improvements/bug fixes.
31st Mar 2011: SocialSafe v2.1.4 released.
Improved photo viewer UI, backup of Likes for Posts, Comments and Photos, faster DiaryView loading speed, Connected/Disconnected filters added for Twitter>Fileview, enhanced Facebook friend pop up & ability to invite friends, CSV export option for all data, ZIP export option for all photos, backup of Facebook Links and and we've made various UI improvements/bug fixes.
13th Dec 2010: SocialSafe v2.05 released.
Increased interface responsiveness and overall app speed improvements. Fixed issues with Wall Post comments and search results. We've also made various UI improvements/bug fixes.
