SocialSafe collects non-personal information about your visit to this Site. This information is used for reporting on the demographics of our visitors. This information is available only to SocialSafe and is not passed on to third parties.

In order to respond to your questions and to keep you informed of future developments, you are able to register on this Site. This information is NOT passed on to Third Parties. The information you provide may be used for the purposes of sending e-mails to you and by registering on this Site, you agree to receive e-mails from Social Safe. These e-mails may contain information about products supplied by other group companies, owned in full or in part by iBundle Limited, SocialSafe’s parent company. If you wish to deregister from this site you may do so by responding to the e-mail you receive.

The information is stored within a secure database. The data collected from this Site is protected from unauthorised access.

Personal Information
In respect of the Application and your licence, the only personal information held by SocialSafe, is your email address. This information is NOT passed on to Third Parties.
Data Held on Facebook
SocialSafe does not have access to any of the data on the Facebook accounts of SocialSafe users. Your friends (and all of your friends’ details, such as email address etc.), photos, files or other information you backup using the SocialSafe Application are transferred directly from your Facebook account to your machine and are never seen or used by Social Safe Limited, or third parties, at any time.
Application Communication to SocialSafe Server
The Application does not share any information with the server, Social Safe Limited or third parties, except for checking your licence key and, if enabled by the user, anonymous statistics regarding the number of backups made and the number of notifications sent.
Notifications sent by Application
The only notifications sent by the Application are back to Facebook and only if you approve the sending of these within the Application. It is not possible for your friends to be emailed by the Application as it does not have access to these addresses or any of your Facebook data.
Two types of notification are sent, both optional:
- ‘Update my status when download finishes’ – this notification simply updates your profile with the statement “I’ve just backed up my Facebook using SocialSafe, check out http://www.socialsafe.net” as your latest status.
Beyond the collection of anonymous statistics on the number of notifications (if you have checked the box to allow the application to do so), SocialSafe Limited is not able to see the details of any of the notifications that are sent.
